Pre Amps
UA 2-610 2 channel Pre Amps
2 of the best sounding Pre amps around. They give things such a nice warm bottom end. Kick and snare in particular retain their impact and definition
Drawmer 1969 2 channel Mic pre/compressor combo
So far Guitars have been most often run through this unit. The onboard compressor adds a nice vintage flavour to the sound. While making sure those sweet notes come through.
Focusrite ISA428 4 channel pre amp
A lot of people have a lot to say about these pre amps so I don't mind offering my two cents. The 428’s have a distinctive sound. They are not what I would call work horse pre's, I am selective about what I use them for, like Drum Over head mics, High hat, Acoustic guitar and certain vocals. The have a defined high end response which used in the right setting can really shine up a song.
16 Focusrite Mic Pre’s
On board the Control 24 unit is 16 clean, clear Class A mic Pres, these things are truly work horse pre. I love Toms through them.
Compression
UA 2-1176 Tube Compressors
Coupled with the 2-610’s these compressors give everything they touch a little more guts, a little more edge, and a little more rock and roll.
12 Channels of Solid State Compressors
Mainly used during tracking. I tend to like to keep the compression off as much as possible during recording but you just can’t get away from them completely.
EQ unit’s to Brag about!
2 Urie 545 Parametric EQ's (Originals)
These EQ’s are a dream to work with. Just passing signal through them gives the music a great feel.
Urie 535 Dual
Graphic EQ
Perfect for bringing out the HF content of Drum kits. I Love these baby’s too.

AKG C414-BULS
I love this microphone, more than any other mic in the studio I love this one. Vocals, guitar, acoustic instruments, drums, everything under the sun can be recorded with this mic. A beautiful piece of metal.
Shure KSM 44
Vocal mic extraordinaire. Awesome in a Blumline on a big cab with the C414. Acoustics through this mic and the 428 Pre’s is a perfect combo.
Shure Drum Mic Kit
We got the kit covered with this set up. These mics allow the drums to punch through without hurting the listener.
Rode NT1, NT 5’s
The rode mics are hard working mics that really bring out the true sound. The NT5’s are great on all sorts of acoustic instruments, the big old Rode Tube really lets the human tone of a vocal track ease on through.
Other Mics
We have a ton of mics, I haven’t run out yet during a session, everything from the big boys like the C414 and others to the humble but hard working Shure SM57. We’ve got you covered.
